EAMES RISER

Charles Ormond Eames, Jr. /‘i:mz/ (1907–1978) and Bernice Alexandra „Ray“ Kaiser Eames (1912–1988) were an American married couple of industrial designers who made significant historical contributions to the development of modern architecture and furniture through the work of the Eames Office. Among their most recognized designs is the Eames Lounge Chair and the Eames Dining Chair. Eames products were manufactured on Washington Boulevard until the 1950s.

"It seems that chairs, tables and people were smaller at that time. We had to figure out the hard way when we built our new office and none of the chairs would fit our new and contemporary desks. That was the time when we thought about the riser." Holger Feist, founder of EVOC Sports.

We tried to transform the idea of the product into the experience of opening the box. The modification of the typography goes along with this idea.
